Candidate Bio: Chuck Fries- A Wired and Ready Leader for the People of Amity
My name Charles G. Fries, but everyone I know calls me Chuck. I am not a career politician—I am a problem solver who has been keeping the lights on in our community for over a decade.
As a resident of Douglassville, I am the owner of Love Electric, a successful contracting business I built from the ground up. For nearly 20 years, I have navigated complex construction contracts, managed budgets, and delivered infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic. I know that a township, like a business, requires a steady hand, fiscal discipline, and a focus on results.
My journey to leadership is defined by resilience. After the tragic loss of my wife, Melissa, in 2019, I raised my two young daughters, Shaylee and Charlie, as a single father in Amity Township. Driven to protect and advocate for my community, I returned to school in my 40s, earning degrees in Criminal Justice from RACC and Kutztown University before pursuing my Juris Doctor at Wilmington University School of Law.
Now, I am running for Amity Township Board of Supervisors to bring a unique “double threat” skill set to the table: the practical know-how of a Master Electrician and the legal acumen of a future attorney. Whether it’s scrutinizing a zoning ordinance or paving a road, I have the tools to get it done right.
I currently serve on the Board of The Foundation for RACC, and I am a proud “Girl Dad.” I am asking for your vote to help wire Amity Township for a brighter, more efficient future.
Campaign Status: We are currently in the "Community Listening Phase." We are not releasing finalized policy papers yet because we believe in listening to residents first.
Core Values:
1. Transparency: Residents deserve to know how every dollar is spent.
2. Safety: Keeping our neighborhoods and roads safe is priority #1.
3. Smart Growth: Development should not come at the cost of our small-town character.
Our Vision
Charles 'Chuck' G. Fries strives to improve Amity Township by fostering community engagement, education, and civic responsibility in preparation for the 2027 election.
Through his campaign, Chuck aims to connect with the residents of Amity and address their needs.
